A Long Weekend At Maryland Shore

In government offices as well as in businesses around District of Colombia, a pleasant thought by way of daydream is "the Eastern Shore". It causes immediate relaxation as one can think of the ocean, seagulls and the like. It's about a 4 hour drive from D.C. to the "Beach". Once there, the fresh salty air bathes your face and senses and you are transformed into a new world. Among the wealthy elite in the Washington Capital Area, a condo at Ocean City, MD is a status symbol. People are attracted to "the shore" for various reasons, the boardwalk, the duck museums, the wild ponies at Assateague Island and so on. Not only those from D.C. flock to the Eastern Shore, they come from Baltimore, Philadelphia and so on... So what is life like at the Eastern Shore as the locals know it? Read on.....
