"ADHD- Solving the Mystery of Neuropsychological Deficits" is a research work aimed to identify the neuropsychological deficits of children with ADHD-Inattentive type (ADHD-IA); and also to remediate their attention deficits and fine motor Incoordination. This book highlight the issues related to children with ADHD-IA such as their co-morbid conditions, functional impairments, hidden neuropsychological deficits etc. It also highlights theories and principles of neuropsychological rehabilitation. The book also discuss about remediation of core problem of ADHD-IA i.e. poor attention span. A seven step model proposed by Parente and Anderson-Parente (1991) is discussed in the book. The book also highlight the functional impairments faced by children with ADHD-IA, and the impact of intervention procedures on such impairments. The efficacy, feasibility, durability and generalizability of attention and fine motor coordination training are also discussed in the book. In brief, the book will give deeper understanding about children with ADHD-IA, their issues, their hidden deficits and type of treatment procedures required to manage their problem.

Le Dr Nawab A. Khan est un psychologue clinique qualifié. Il a obtenu son M.Phil et son doctorat en psychologie clinique à RINPAS, en Inde, et possède une expérience de plus de 10 ans dans le domaine de la santé mentale. Il travaille actuellement comme professeur associé en psychologie clinique à l'université JSS. Son domaine d'intérêt est la neuropsychologie clinique.
