An Accurate And Reliable Eye Gaze Detection Technique

Gaze detection is the science of measuring the movement of the eyes. Any person can move his eyes to bring a portion of his visible area into high resolution therefor, who can see the fine detail of that portion. We can move the eyes in response to visual, auditory or cognitive stimulus. Eye gaze estimation methods can be used in several applications in neuroscience, psychology, and human-computer interaction. This chapter, provides a brief introduction to the eye movements, human visual system, a high-level discussion and interview on different types of eye movements and eye gaze detecting methods used by the research community, and a statement of the contribution of this book.
