An Overview on Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common brain disorders and the main cause of dementia affecting the elderly population. It is projected to become the major health problem with socioeconomic implications. We focused in this book on the pathophysiology and prognosis of AD. Advanced diagnostic technique for AD including nanotechnology in vivo and in vitro approaches. Also, we illustrated some promising techniques in management of AD including nanotechnology, stem cells, gene therapy and natural therapy. We hope readers of this book including general readers, professionals and students will find helpful data in this simplified book.
