The present study attempts to examine the cognitive profile of patients having bipolar illness following their first episode and multiple episodes, currently in remission. This has to be compared and then further compared with normal control. So,this book would be helpful to the researchers and students to understand the nature of cognitive functions as per the single and multiple episode and for the management of bipolar patients.

The author is Assistant Professor & Head, department of Clinical Psychology, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, India. She is the chief coordinator of suicide prevention helpline which renders help to suicidal round the clock. She has been a gold medalist in Social science and has been an achiever in her university.
