Crossmedia and transmedia are keywords of increasing importance for media professionals and scholars alike. This book contains chapters by authors who approach the phenomenon from different disciplinary angles. The common interest lies in the dynamics that lead to experiments with crossmedia and in how cultures are innovated through such practices.

Indrek Ibrus is a Research Fellow at the Estonian Institute of Humanities of Tallinn University. He researches and teaches media innovation and crossmedia production. Carlos A. Scolari is Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra at Barcelona (Spain). He researches and teaches the evolution of digital interfaces, interactive communication and transmedia storytelling.
