FORMATE OF THE PROJECTThe entire project is divided into six chapters. The content of the project presented in each chapter is given below.CHAPTER-IINTRODUCTIONChapter I deals with the introduction and background history of various types of corrosion and its impact was prescribed.CHAPTER-IISCOPE AND OBJECTIVESChapter II deals with literature survey of various materials used for prevention of corrosion, scope and objectives of the present work.CHAPTER IIIAIM AND SCOPE OF THE PRESENT INVESTIGATIONFor this investigation, it is proposed to carry out the following objectives1. To synthesize nanoporous anodic alumina films by anodizing aluminium in oxalic acid 2. To fabricate zinc oxide and silver nanoparticles on nanoporous anodic alumina by DC electrodeposition to fabricate ZOSENAA coatings.3. To study the antibacterial properties of ZOSENAA coatings against Gram positive (Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli).4. To analyze the surface morphology and elemental composition of the coatings by SEM with EDX.5. To examine the phase and elemental composition of nanostructure coatings using X-ray diffraction (XRD). 6. To study the corrosion resistance of zinc.
