As part of the Saint Petersburg Dialogues theoreticians and practitioners, researchers and trainers from East and West have shared their experiences and collected them in this volume. The systematic treatment of interpersonal conflict mediation has spread rapidly worldwide and is increasingly incorporated in law. The literature on this subject has equally grown. Sergey A. Manichev is the Head of the Department of Ergonomics and Engineering Psychology at Saint-Petersburg State University and deals with Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Alexander Redlich is Professor of Educational Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the University of Hamburg. His main topics in research and teaching are communication, conflict management and group dynamics.
