Esthetic consideration of canine substitution

Amongst the anomalies observed in human dentition, agenesis is one of the most commonly found. Maxillary lateral incisor agenesis is one such anomaly. Various treatment modalities involving orthodontic & prosthetic treatment have been advocated for the management of this anomaly. So the objective was to analyze the best treatment modality for maxillary lateral incisor agenesis amongst the orthodontic space closure, prosthetic replacement & implant based upon the esthetic results.
