Moringa oleifera commonly name as Malunggay in the Philippines was evaluated by the researchers at Bataan Peninsula State University Abucay Campus through a Department of Agriculture- Bureau of Agricultural Research funded proect. Three studies were conducted using Moringa oliefera leaf powder as feed supplement and Moringa seed oil as substitute for coconut oil to evaluate its potential and economic viability as poultry feeds for chicken layer diets to produce organic eggs in the future using locally and pesticide-free ingredients, because of the plant's multiple uses and as a source of highly nutritious food from its leaves and young fruits.
