ICTs and Development

This book presents findings of a study on internet and mobile phone use among the urban poor of Kampala. It gives an extensive insight into the various uses undertaken by the urban poor with access to these two ICTs. is a 27 year old Ugandan, currently the Director of Yo Voy a Ti Foundation Uganda. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University and a Master of Science Degree in Development Management from the University of Agder. Esther is interested in ICT4D, research and development in Africa.
