Influence of Nitrogen on Maize Hybrid on Entisol in Eastern India
Details
Maize, being an exhaustive crop, has very high nutrient requirement and its productivity depends closely on nutrient requirements particularly nitrogen. Nitrogen application in splits proved to be a best practice in the sense that it reduced various losses and ultimately resulted to higher grain yield and net return in maize as compared to sole application. Hence, a field experiment was conducted to find out the optimum dose and time of application of nitrogen.
