Introduction to Biology

Biology and Medicine are multidisciplinary sciences which are continuously contributing to human health. Despite their extraordinary advances, the basic and fundamental principles are unchanged and must be noticed as the first steps through which we can climb the ladder of knowledge. Four separate and distinctly different chapters are being analyzed to that book with the first one dealing with the very basic structural, functional, and reproductive unit of every living organism which is the cell. The second one is occupied with the basics of plant physiology. Afterwards, the third one analyzes the basics of genetics. Finally, the fourth chapter deals with the basics of human physiology. This book, therefore, provides an easily understood approach to the fundamental principles of Biology and Medicine which are the necessary first steps to the ladder of knowledge for the students of Biology, Medicine, and Pharmacy faculty. The knowledge is given in an attractive and very easily understood way. That makes it a suitable choice not only for students but also for every person who actually is interested in understanding the principles of our own existence and health.

En 2008, j'ai obtenu mon diplôme à la faculté de biologie de l'université Aristote de Thessalonique, en Grèce. J'ai poursuivi mes études à la faculté d'odontologie, où j'ai obtenu mon diplôme en 2014 avec mention (diplôme rouge) en raison de mes excellents résultats académiques. En 2011, j'ai remporté le troisième prix du concours international du magazine scientifique GEN. Je donne des conférences lors de réunions dentaires nationales.
