Islamic Banking & India: An Empiric Exegesis of Financial Inclusion
Details
Islamic way of managing banking and finance system gives off an impression of being a new idea in Indian economy. Islamic banking is thought to be infeasible and unlikely in Indian Conventional arrangement of keeping the money. The major finding of this literary work is based on a sample survey collected through a structured questionnaire, which suggests that there is no need of Islamic banking in India that we can believe through the results of questionnaire, because most of the respondents (belonging to muslim community) are satisfied with the conventional banking system and those who are not satisfied or wanted to introduce interest free banking system think that the Islamic banks don't charge interest and any type of fee. They think that Islamic banks distribute higher profits as compared to conventional banking. This book in detail analyses Islamic Banking and Financial system and discusses pros & cons of applying the same in India when the discussion and debates are on for application of a Uniform Civil Code in country.
