The author has analyzed the mathematical thought of the Azerbaijani folklore scientists on the basis of the works written by them, and given the scientific explanation of the mathematical models in folklore texts referring to the mathematical thought of the Azerbaijani folklore scientists and the development of the mathematical folklore science. The book contains a mathematical-functional overview of the studies by the Russian and European authors as well. For the first time in the folklore science, the author analyzes in this study the mathematical-mythological structure of epic information of "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" and "Oghuz Kaghan" eposes. The book also attempts to reveal the primitive digital math-ematical-mythological worldview of the ancestry. Formation of the mathematical mythology as a science is based on the mathematical folklore texts. This book is the first ever academic study in the modern folklore science researching the folklore and mythology through the prism of mathematics.

Autorentext

Professor Ramil Aliyev specializes in folklore and mythology. He is the author of 20 books as well asover 70 scientific-methodical articles. Mr. Aliyev has an extensive scientific and pedagogical experience having worked for over 30 years at the National Academy of Sciences ofAzerbaijan and various universities in the country.
