Details

The positive relationship between risk taking propensity and Small and Micro enterprises' Performance has been developed and supported by most empirical studies. Moreover, the mediating effect of risk taking propensity on the link between micro finance policy and Small and Micro enterprises' Performance was found to be very significant. On the other hand mediating power of cultural characteristics was clearly predicted intensively through predictor perception rather than any other predictor for cultural characteristics considered in the study. However its mediating effect is less strong than risk taking propensity. It's more precisely that the entrepreneurial activities owned by SACCOS loan beneficiaries having high risk taking propensity perform better (in terms of profit and capital growth) than low risk taking propensity irrespective of interest charge on loan but with considerable flex duration to repay the loan. However the age, gender and marital status of the SMEs owners matters a lot. The Micro finance policy and micro financing in particular both of which have nothing of credible on Small and Micro enterprise Performance if the entrepreneurial behaviors are ignored.
