Mixed Magnetic Ferrite Nanoparticles
Details
The synthesis and functionalisation of nanostructure magnetic materials has been an interesting area of study because of its possible applications in a variety of widely diversified areas ranging from information technology to nano-biotechnology. The advancements in nanofabrication and development of modern characterization techniques have opened a wide array of highly sophisticated applications of magnetic nanoparticles in the biomedical as well as in electronic fields. The properties physical, structural and magnetic nanopatricles required for different applications should be unique. The experimental studies carried in synthesis and analysis of different mixed magnetic ferrite nanoparticles of Co1-x-Znx, Co 0.8-x-ZnxNi0.2 and Co 0.8-x-Znx Mn0.2 ferrite nanoparticles by means of a reverse coprecipitation chemical method. The magnetic properties, super paramagnetic behavior, the saturation magnetization, coercivity and remanenent magnetization of the samples were measured using instruments like VSM, TEM, XRD and SEM. Using Pulse Field Magnetometer the temperature variation of magnetization has been carried out to determine the Curie temperature.
