Nutztierrassen

Our Earth needs a wide diversity of useful animals more than ever. For each of our useful animal species, there are a number of strongly dominant breeds, as described in all technical books. The numerous other breeds remnant populations of old rural breeds, exotic breeds from other countries or types are hardly ever even mentioned. This book draws your attention to them, and shows their value and importance for retaining diversity in breeding. The breeds in profiles: 71 cattle breeds, 62 sheep breeds, 24 goat breeds, 83 horse breeds, four donkey and mule breeds, and 19 pig breeds.
