Ocean Climate Variables
Details
This paper analyzes to investigate the variability and trends of temperature over Bangladesh and its relation with ENSO (El Nino Southern Oscillation). The data of temperature for 30 selected rain gauge stations of Bangladesh have been used over a period of 57 years (1948-2004) collected from Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) and ENSO data have been downloaded from the website of Golden Gate Weather Services, Canada. The data are analyzed using different statistical parameters. The major findings of the study are that the distribution of temperature shows that the maximum temperature has two peaks, the first peak occurs in April and the second one in September. More details are described in the book.
