Political Leadership in the Hand of Teachers
Details
Leadership has been a major topic of discussion in academia. Some view leadership as a process that is beneficial and key to people s social, educational, political, economic stability, and progress while others regard it with hostility, even fear, believing that the lack of leadership increases inequality and the lack of democracy. A good example is education; most of the scholars view the lack of leadership engenders oppression, inequality, lack of democracy and opportunity leading to a decline in human social, economic, and political progress. Leadership on the other hand has contributed towards more democracy and transparency in human social affairs, which has led to the opening of a wide potential for greater growth and opportunities for developing countries to raise their living standards. The main goal of this book is to examine the reason behind teachers' move to politics in order to understand the type of leadership they display on the political.
