The purpose of this study was to assess the modifiable predictors of T2D and variations in predisposing factors among the people living around Lake Victoria region, and in particular to describe variations in dietary factors, physical activity, socio-economic status and prevalence of T2D among two rural communities in the lake Victoria basin
