Quality Grading of Meeting Venues
Details
The quest for quality and standards of venues in the meetings industry worldwide and specifically in the United Kingdom (UK) has received considerable interest from and among industry stakeholders. Drawing from examples of quality grading in the hotel sector and venue grading schemes across the world, this work examines the feasibility of a grading scheme for meeting venues in the UK, starting first with purpose-built venues. It incorporates the issues of applicability and acceptability, resources required, as well as issues of service quality as related to quality grading and the meetings industry.
