Right tool, Wrong target?

This book examines the challenges of implementation of the co-management approach in the fisheries management sector in Uganda with specific case reference to the establishment of the Beach management units in Lakes Victoria and Kyoga in the country. The book agrees that community involvement in fisheries management is important but should be implementation with caution inorder for its intedned results to be achieved.

Daisy Olyel Aciro est actuellement inspectrice principale des pêches en Ouganda. Elle a fréquenté l'école primaire Obiya Highland, l'école secondaire Uganda Martyr's Senior et l'école de filles Tororo. Elle est diplômée de l'université Makerere de Kampala et de l'université de Tromso. Elle est mère de trois enfants. Daisy est ouverte à de nouvelles études dans le domaine de la pêche.
