Malformations of the heart, lungs, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, hypocholesterolemia, paleness and genitalia are also common. Infants with Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome have weak muscle tone (hypotonia), experience feeding difficulties, and tend to grow more slowly than other infants.
