Spatial and temporal variations in the diversity of Micro-algae

Abundance and micro algal species composition as a result of interaction between physical, chemical and biological variables. Micro algal species composition and growth of species are useful indicators of nutrient enrichment. They are widely used in biotechnological applications mainly for bio remediation, nutriceutical and pharmaceutical purposes, as well as for bio energy production. Rift valley lakes gifted with many beautiful lakes, numerous hot springs, warm and pleasant climate and a variety of wildlife. These lakes considered as one of the most ideal areas for the development of international tourism in Ethiopia and anybody can be relaxing sports for fishing.
