The Impact of the Imminence of the Parousia on the Mission

At the mid of nineteen century, a new Christian movement appeared to proclaim that the Second Coming of Christ will take place very soon. Many were experiencing an enthusiasm they never had before. It was the beginning of the Seventh-day Adventist movement that lately became an organized church. Come with me to explore some biblical passages and some factors that stirred up this movement. The biblical promise still stands to call us to renew our love for the Master that will come on the clouds.
