Donghoon Chang wurde am 12.12.2002 in Seoul, Süd-Korea geboren. Dort besuchte er bis zum 9. Lebensjahr die Beondong-Elemantary School in Seoul, bevor er aus familiären Gründen mit seiner Mutter nach Düsseldorf zog. Hier besucht er zur Zeit die Geschwister-Scholl Gymnasium. Während seiner Kindheit entwickelte er schon große Interessen im Bereich Musik, Kunst und Literatur. Neben Büchern schrieb er auch mehrere Stücke für verschiedene Instrumente.
