Goat, commonly known as the poor man's cow , is widely distributed and usually associated with poor people. Economic contribution of goat is extremely important for the security and livelihood of poor people throughout the developing countries. The Jamunapari breed bas been extensively utilized to upgrade indigenous breeds for milk and meat purpose, and bas been exported to neighboring countries for the same purposes. This work exploit to answer the problem of tracking the oestrus cycle in Jamunapari goat by analyzing different methods for tracking of the oestrus cycle and develop the simple, economical and easy method to perform under field conditions with a high accuracy with minimum intervention.
