Nara Game Reserve is a complex of more than 200 large, medium and small wetlands, most of which are permanent while some are seasonal. Nara Game Reserve was established in 1972 and is located along the Nara Canal. It is very important for its biodiversity, as it supports some rare and threatened vertebrate species including Hog Deer, Smooth-coated Otter, Fishing Cat, Marbled Teal, Grey Partridge, Black Partridge, Houbara Bustard and Marsh Crocodile. The research techniques and information presented in this book are helpful for graduate and research students of wildlife, National Parks managers, wildlife biologists and wildlife conservation organizations etc.
