Women's Perception of Respectful Maternity Care

This study outlines the steps undertaken to identify women's perception of Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) in public health facilities in Ethiopia and constructed a tool to measure the construct using psychometric recommendation for new scale development. The study also presented how it was managed to identify dimensions of RMC and come up with a parsimonious tool with good psychometric characteristics.

Mr. Ephrem Daniel is a graduate of Statistics and Measurement and Evaluation from Addis Ababa university in 2004 and 2014 respectively. Mr. Ephrem has a rich experience in program design, monitoring and evaluation with different international organizations working on maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS prevention and pre-service education programs.
