Atlantoaxoid subluxation by suboccipital pott's disease
Details
The suboccipital location of Pott's disease is exceptional, and may be complicated by compression of the bulbous-medullary junction due to instability of the cervico-occipital hinge, requiring arthrodesis. In this monograph, we review the different aspects of suboccipital tuberculosis, in particular the epidemiology, the particularity of the clinical, the interest of the different paraclinical examinations (radiography, CT Scan, magnetic resonance imaging and biology), the different diagnostic modalities (positive, differential and etiological), the prognosis and the different therapeutic modalities (medical and surgical treatments: indication and techniques).
