Engineering Fluid Mechanics
Details
Combines the features of a textbook and a monograph, making it easy to use Provides several useful tables and diagrams for checking fluid parameters directly Clearly describes the connection between porous flow and free flow Includes numerous examples of engineering fluid mechanics for better understanding
Autorentext
Honqqing Song received his Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where he is currently an associate professor at the School of Civil and Resource Engineering. His research focuses on fluid mechanics and its application in energy and environmental engineering, especially fluid flow in porous media. He identified the mechanism of gas transport in unconventional reservoirs with nanoscale pores and developed a mathematical model for numerical simulations such as shale, coal and tight sandstone. He has published more than 60 technical papers and received the China National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2010.
