Glasnost, Perestroika and The New Thinking

Mikhail Gorbachev's visions of a reformulated Soviet Union encompassing glasnost, perestroika and The New Thinking after the abrupt departure of the ailing Konstantin Chernenko revolutionized Soviet foreign policy and the CPSU as well.
