What is moodle? Moodle (Modular Object Oriented Distance Learning) is a management system for creating online courses. These systems are also called Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) or Learning Management Systems (LMS). Moodle is free learning support software and can be installed on various platforms that can run the php language, such as Unix, Linux, Windows. MAC OS. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Access, Interbase or ODBC can be used as databases. It is developed collaboratively by a virtual community of programmers, designers, administrators, teachers and users from all over the world and is available in several languages. Moodle has been used to support face-to-face courses. Teachers end up replacing the need to leave material in the college's photocopier or send files to a large number of their students' emails, they just have to have a subject created in moodle to "hang" the text files there, which the students must read to follow the subject.
