This book contains the policies and programmes for elderly people in india and especially punjab state. it also includes the problems of elderly faced in later years of life. moreover it throws light on the living standard of elderlies and the involvement of older people in old age homes' activities. various suggestions are also given for the upliftment of standard of older persons in old age homes.

Currently working on hallophilic bacteria (Salt tolerant bacteria) at IASRI, New Delhi, India. I have published 13 Research papers in International and National Journals and books.
