Adaptive MIMO Systems
Details
Although MIMO systems have been successfully
demonstrated in theoretical and practical works, but
most of them are based on i.i.d. channels. For
indoor environments, they are differently
characterized from i.i.d. conditions. Hence, this
book aims at investigating adaptive MIMO systems
under such an environment. The investigated channel
models are verified by measured data, available from
various sources. In this regard, transmission
schemes are presented to achieve the highest
transfer rate. While assessing MIMO
capacity, of importance is the issue of
signal normalization, mutual coupling and
amplifier effects. This book proposes to clearly
include all observing capacities from those aspects
in order to enable better benefits
of MIMO systems from the practical perspective. The
book also assesses MIMO performances from the
practical point of view on other measures such as
Bit Error Rate (BER), computational complexity,
processing delay. This book should help the MIMO
designers to aware on various constraints for
implementing MIMO systems in practice and should be
especially useful to both academic and industrial
researchers.
