The objective is to ascertain the various types of conflict, African traditional methods of resolving disputes,the peace institutions and the effectiveness of these methods before and now. The book also establish through extensive study and survey, how these methods are being applied in acient time, its effect and how it can be utilized in contemporary time through adequate standardization. It also identify the change agents influencing the status of African traditional methods.

Abdulrazaq Oyebanji Hamzat popularly known as Mr. Rights is a Nigerian peace expert, transformational speaker and a public commentator, born on 07th January, 1987. He holds BSc in Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria and currently studying his Masters Degree in the same course and institution.
