Pruthviraj.R.D. est titulaire d'un M.Sc., d'un M.Phil et d'un PhD en chimie et travaille en tant que professeur associé en chimie. Il a 19 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement de la chimie au RajaRajeswari College of Engg, Bengalore, Karnataka, INDE. Il a guidé 5 étudiants en maîtrise et 6 étudiants en doctorat dans le domaine des matériaux composites.
