Biodiesel

The conventional energy resources like fossil fuels , coal , petroleum and natural gas are depleting day by day , thereby posing a challenge to science in meeting the ever increasing demand of energy . Non Conventional Energy Resources like BIODIESEL seems to be the solution. It is technically feasible , environmentally acceptable , economically competitive and produced from easily available resources. This book therefore gives the exhaustive information of the possible feedstocks (keeping Indian scenario in mind) , methods of preparation varying different parameters , physical and chemical properties and ASTM methods used for their calculation , advantages , disadvantages , impact of emission of Biodiesel on environment. This should help to professionals , researchers and everybody aware of the role of biodiesel as the fuel of the moment and the future and looking forward to work in this field.
