Biodiversity, Autecology and Status of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants

Over recent decades, medicinal plants have become a vital source of diverse products, including food, essential oils, cosmetics, and bioactive compounds. As a result, they offer new avenues of income generation, particularly in developing nations. However, some of these plants are facing severe overexploitation, which, combined with climate change, threatens these species. Therefore, it is imperative to examine their ecology and evaluate their condition.
