Boundary element methods for control problems

In this book Dirichlet and Neumann boundary control problems subject to the Helmholtz equation - which has to be solved in three dimensional unbounded exterior domains - are considered. The observation takes place on volumes, two dimensional manifolds, curves or finitely many points. Boundary Integral Equations and the corresponding Boundary Element Method are used to solve the Helmholtz equation in unbounded exterior domains.

Arno Kimeswenger studied mathematics at the Graz University of Technology between 2005 and 2009. Afterwards he was working within the SFB MOBIS (2011-2014) and the IGDK 1754 (2013-2015). In 2015 he finished his PhD in Graz, currently he is working in Wiener Neustadt at the University of Applied Sciences. His focus is on numerical methods for PDEs.
