Cash-Flow Management in a Volatile Flexible Exchange Rate System

The book analyses the linkages of cash-flow loses vis a vis currency volatilities that unsettles Zambia's Financial Institutions. The findings ascertains that there exists risk triggers, currency risks and lack of hedging strategies to rein on resultant losses. In addition, the study reviewed that Zambian Financial Institutions have not been excepted from global factors that influences the movements in the financial market. The book also takes cognizance of the fact that the financial market is imperfect and dynamic hence the need for the adoption of risk management strategies to mitigate risk exposures. Thus, national development through optimal currency management remains an elusion for Zambia without hedging portfolios.
Autorentext
The author taught Development Studies at the University of Zambia. He left to join the telecom world in 2007. Since then he has served as manager in various business units (Research - Planning and Channel Development etc.) in the leading, and the total telecommunication solution providing companies in Zambia. He holds an MBA (CBU) and a BA (UNZA).
