Restorative dentistry is a very nice branch in dental field. Restoration of decayed tooth need better removal of caries with minimally invasive way. after caries removal, a geometric shape of cavity should be achieved to ensure good retention of the restoration. This is need through knowledge of cavity classification, how to remove caries, cavity design and better material to be used in tooth restoration. This color atlas in operative dentistry is designed to give a good clarification of how to make Step by step cavity preparation for class one and two in restorative dentistry.
