Corporate Governance, Firm Performance, and Information Leakage

This book focuses on the issue of corporate governance in Chinese listed companies. Firstly, this book introduces the background of the Chinese stock market and reviews previous works, which are related to this topic. Then, it empirically evaluates the effect of corporate governance mechanism on firm performance in Chinese listed companies. After that, this book assesses the problem of information leakage in the Chinese stock market, and how the corporate governance mechanism influence such problem in the Chinese stock market. I was born in China. I received my BSc from the University of Luton in 2005, and received my MSc from the University of Aberdeen in 2006. I started my PhD from 2007, and fortunately, I received my PhD from the University of Plymouth in 2012. My research topic focuses on the issue of corporate governance in Chinese listed companies.
