Dark thoughts. Life is a Story - story.one

Exhaustion, dejection, stress.... Sometimes, things happen in our life that take away the joy of living, that cause chaos in our minds or that cut us off from the outside world. "Dark thoughts" is the title of my work and I think we all know what is meant by that. A topic that is a taboo subject for many: mental health. I give you various insights into my mind in the hope that you will not feel alone and that together we will find the way back to life: a life full of joy, hope, and love.

My name is Vito and I was born in a small city in West Germany. My parents came here to find a job and start a new life about 35 years ago. We are a family of five: my parents, my two older sisters and me. In 2018, I started studying at university, but since I was a kid, I have always been involved in music and singing. Thanks to my music teacher, I discovered songwriting, which I still do to this day. Writing became something very important in my life - not just for music, but also for me as a person.
