Early-Childhood Education in Mexico in the 20th Century
Details
The book looks at the evolution of early-childhood education in Mexico throughout the twentieth century, from the presidency of Porfirio Díaz up to the most recent major educational reform in 2002. It describes the growth in conviction that it is a necessary part both of the fulfilment of children and of civic improvement and economic success. It looks at the people and the many experiments in legislation and schooling projects that brought this about. It also attempts to put all this in an international perspective.
