Medicinal plants are globally important natural plant resource, as they contribute towards quality health care and play a vital role for the development of new drugs. Many of these medicinal plants are rare and endangered and some species are on the verge of extinction. If not conserved in time these valuable medicinal plant species would disappear from the nature in near future. Paris polyphylla is one of those threatened medicinal plant found in temperate to subalpine region of Nepal Himalaya with high medicinal use and very potent bioactive compound for drug formulation. It's indepth research, sustainable utilization, proper conservation and management and mass cultivation is lacking today. This book has added some basic ecological information of the plant which could be beneficial for the future research, conservation, its commercialization and popularization for the sake of medicinal plants innovations and the whole biodiversity conservation.
