Heavy metal pollution is a great concern to many around the globe today. These metals cause untold harm to millions around the world. There are various ways of removing heavy metals from industrial and agricultural effluents, but these are either too complicated or expensive to benefit all. This research work outlines a simple and inexpensive way of removing copper from waste water. It details a research work carried out in Africa which has a lot of industries and entrepreneurs who lack the ability to pay for the popular but expensive waste removal procedures. The method is well outlined. The research follows established isotherms like Langmuir, Freundlich and BET. The materials and reagents used are readily available. It is hoped that this work will greatly help in the reduction of the pollution of our bodies of water especially the reduction of copper pollution.
