Effect of Magnet Field on Properties of Ground Water
Details
Karbala city is one of the important hydrogeological areas, it contains large aquifer while the groundwater quality in this aquifer is characterized to be highly concentrated with dissolved salts which are generally ranged (200 to 7400) ppm. To assess the water quality for irrigation that depends on several criteria, mainly the total content of salts and ionic composition substantially and the quality depends on the type and quantity of dissolved salts. The study was structured to improve wells water quality which used for irrigation in this area by using the effectiveness of a magnetic physical water treatment device (PWTD) that made locally. Four permanent magnets types with different dimensions used to make a device, material magnetic blocks are NdFeB with high intensity ranged (4000-14000) Gauss.
