We all know that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, the Mother Nature has given tough to human kind in the name of global warming for his way of treating the earth. The climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions is the common top priority problem to be solved by all nations' government worldwide. Future energy consumption is at greater challenge, in regards to this smart grid, renewable energy sources and EVs in smart cities are shown greater interest. As urban population increased, the on road vehicle count also increased rapidly. As a result air pollution increased greatly in densely populated cities and due to least availability of fuel, deployment of Electric vehicles (EVs) are shown greater focus. EVs and HEVs are shown higher interest for its nil or low carbon emission, greater mileage and excellent feature of energy efficiency. In recent past researchers and various companies are investigating on the electric vehicles in smart cities.
